They are cooking with gas right now but what of Celtic’s stars could in fact depart the club in January?
Brendan Rodgers’ side have won all but one Premiership game this season, a 2-2 draw with second-placed Aberdeen. They are through to the final of the Premier Sports Cup to face Rangers and sit on a healthy seven points from four games in the Champions League.
With that comes interest and stars perhaps not getting the minutes they require, such has the form of those in front of them been. So who are five who could be on the way out?
Glasgow World looks at some candidates.
Nicolas Kuhn
Probably set to be the most-talked about Celtic player in January. On fire with 21 goals and assists combined already this campaign, with Premier League clubs linked. A huge bid could give Celtic something to think about.
Maik Nawrocki
A fringe man since arriving from Legia Warsaw in 2023. Way back in the pecking order defensively now and the centre-back could seek more minutes elsewhere.
Alex Valle
Possible loan recall talk has surrounded the Barcelona loanee. With Greg Taylor out of contract in the summer with no new deal agreed yet, keeping Valle will be on the agenda for January. They’ll hope that’s not out of their control.
Luis Palma
He’s become more of a squad man this season. No league goals or assists yet this term but double for Honduras vs Mexico proves his talent. Could be another seeking extended minutes elsewhere.
Odin Thiago Holm
Suffering with a calf injury at present. Still only 21 and 22 in January, a loan spell away to a Premiership rival could be benefical for the Norwegian. Kwon has grown in stature with spells at St Mirren and Hibs, could he be next to benefit from the loan route?
