Luke Cundle has not played for Wolves’ first-team this season, and could be on the move in the coming days.

It was reported that Millwall had made a permanent bid for Cundle.

But within hours, it was claimed that Millwall bid for Cundle had been rejected by Wolves.

No details have been released yet regarding how much Millwall offered. But Cundle has spent the last couple of seasons out on loan and may well be set for another exit.

Vitor Pereira has not yet spoken about Cundle since he arrived at the club, but may well do so today at his press conference given the fresh speculation.

Leon Chiwome suffers ACL injury

Leon Chiwome has confirmed that his season is over after suffering an ACL injury.

Taking to his Instagram account, the young striker said he has ruptured ligaments and won’t play again in 2024/25.

The 19-year-old had only recently returned from a serious ankle injury that put him on the sidelines for around four months.

Chiwome may well have been set for a loan move, but this fresh setback means he will now not be going anywhere in the coming days.

Matheus Cunha latest

Yesterday was a bit of a quieter day on the Matheus Cunha front – which was a relief to Wolves fans.

It’s been suggested Cunha is not for sale and Wolves expect the player to stay.

Nottingham Forest were linked with Cunha on Wednesday. Nuno Espirito Santo responded to the Nottingham Forest links to Cunha, but simply said he didn’t know anything about it.

Meanwhile, pundit Paul Merson believes Wolves will end up selling Cunha after Pereira criticised his body language after the defeat to Chelsea.

Merson believes that Pereira wouldn’t have said what he said if Cunha was not going to leave.

With little over a week left in the transfer window, his situation is going to be very interesting to watch play out – certainly, keeping hold of him will be a major boost for Wolves in their bid to stave off relegation.
