Portsmouth have signed Kaide Gordon on loan from Liverpool for the rest of the season.
The 20-year-old forward spent the first half of the campaign at Norwich City, where he made 10 appearances and scored once in the Championship.
Pompey manager John Mousinho believes Gordon will add valuable depth to the squad.
“We’re delighted to welcome Kaide to the club and would like to thank Liverpool for loaning him to us,” Mousinho said.
“He arrives having already gained experience of this level from his time with Norwich and really boosts our attacking options.
“Kaide is a talented young player with bags of potential, and I’m excited to see what he can do in a Pompey shirt during the rest of this season.”
Gordon began his career at Derby County, making one senior appearance before joining Liverpool at 16. He has since played seven times for the Reds, featuring in Premier League wins over Brentford and Bournemouth.
The England youth international scored his first senior goal in Liverpool’s FA Cup victory over Shrewsbury in January 2022, becoming the club’s youngest scorer in the competition.
His last appearance for Norwich came against Coventry in January before Liverpool recalled him.
