The Dallas Mavericks shocked the NBA world when they traded Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Anthony Davis. Fans everywhere have panned this move, and with the team continually getting blasted for this decision, they have made a major decision regarding their season-ticket holders.
This huge move surprised everyone, including Doncic himself, who had no idea he was a trade candidate until the deal had been made. At his introductory press conference with Los Angeles on Tuesday, Doncic admitted that coming to terms with the move was very difficult for him. “”Honestly, it was hard at first,” Doncic said.
“That first day was really hard. I felt like these last 48 hours were one month. Emotionally, it was really hard, but today was much better.” While the Mavs brought another superstar back to town through this deal in Davis, fans are not happy that they dealt Doncic away seemingly out of nowhere. In a stunning turn, Dallas revealed that they will be offering refunds to their remaining home games for their season-ticket holders.
“The Dallas Mavericks have offered refunds for the remaining home games this season to fans who have canceled their season ticket plans. It’s valued around $2,000,” Abby Jones of DLLS Sports reported in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. The Mavericks are offering refunds for all home games this season to season ticket holders who canceled packages after the Luka-AD trade.

Despite being just 25 years old, he’s already a five-time All-Star and five-time First-Team All-NBA member.
Coming to town is Davis, who is averaging 25.7 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game on 52.8% shooting. He’s dealing with an abdomen injury, though, that will prevent him from suiting up when Dallas faces off against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night.
