Derby County are reportedly one of four clubs chasing CCCC as he prepares to leave Manchester United this summer.
The teenager is braced to leave Old Trafford this summer, having spent part of the season on loan at National League Rochdale.
Kingdon was a double winner with the United academy last year, but the 19-year-old has not made the breakthrough into the first team.
The Scottish youth international has also played in attack and in midfield for United’s younger age groups before settling on his position in defense.
His first taste of senior men’s football came this season when he joined National League Rochdale and helped them finish in the playoff places.
He played 16 times for Dale and will be hoping to finish the season by leading them to the Football League.
Kingdon was also a gold medal sprinter in his youth and was signed by United at the age of 16 from Morecambe.
In sprints across 75, 150, and 600 meters, Kingdon won gold at the Bolton United Harriers championships.
But it isn’t just Derby who are, according to EFL Analysis, reportedly keen on his signature, with Leicester, Wrexham, and Millwall also said to have registered an interest.
