Plymouth sign Hertha Berlin midfielder Ibrahim

Bradley Ibrahim's stunning strike for Crawley against Wrexham was the EFL goal of the month for February

Plymouth Argyle have made their fourth signing of the summer, bringing in midfielder Bradley Ibrahim from Hertha Berlin.

The 20-year-old has joined on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The Londoner spent last season on loan with League One Crawley, making 37 appearances in all competitions, having come through the ranks at QPR and then joining Arsenal’s academy.

Ibrahim captained the Gunners under-18s to the FA Youth Cup final in 2023, where they lost to West Ham, before joining Hertha Berlin’s development side in February 2024.

“Bradley is someone we identified during last season with the profile of being strong, powerful, a good tackler, and at an age where he is improving rapidly,” David Fox, Argyle head of football operations, told the club website., external

“I know from my own experience that going to play abroad, to experience living in another culture, helps you as a player and as a person. Bradley is a mature young man and will complement us perfectly.”

Ibrahim follows Aberdeen defender Jack MacKenzie, Coventry City striker Jamie Paterson, and Exeter City midfielder Caleb Watts in moving to the League One Pilgrims.
