QPR are working on a deal to land the right-back this summer. They are preparing for another year in the Championship.

Adamson, 22, has caught the eye in the A-League over recent times at Macarthur, and they face a battle to keep hold of him. He has been with his current club since joining them in 2023.
In this latest update regarding his situation, West London Sport claims he is wanted by the R’s in this window. They have recently appointed Julien Stephan as their new head coach.
Stephan has told their official club website, “I feel very proud and excited to join QPR. QPR is a historic club with strong values and passionate fans, so I feel honored. I wanted to come here because I know there’s a lot of passion around the club and around the team, and I feel very lucky to discover that.
“There is something unique about English football. The intensity, the atmosphere, the passion of the fans, the tempo of the game, and the culture around the club all make it a very stimulating environment for a coach.”
QPR target Kealey Adamson deal
QPR could see Adamson as someone to boost their defensive department. If he joined, he would give them more competition and depth at the back.
The full-back started his career at Sydney FC and rose up through their academy ranks. He was a regular at various different youth levels before breaking into their reserve side as a teenager.

Adamson then left the Allianz Stadium and linked up with fellow New South Wales outfit Macarthur on a permanent deal. He has since become one of their most prized assets and hasn’t looked back since.
The Australian youth international made 26 appearances during the 2024/25 campaign. He chipped in with two goals and three assists.
What now for QPR?
QPR manager Stephan will be looking to put his own stamp on his newly inherited squad with some signings. He has managed Rennes and Strasbourg in the past and has been brought in by the R’s as their replacement for Marti Cifuentes.
Time will tell whether the Hoops will be able to get a deal for Adamson over the line. He is young, has the potential to develop, and could be a useful long-term option.
QPR has the chance to bring in some more new faces over the next couple of months. They also have the opportunity to let some players head out the exit door too if needed.
