Abdallah Sima shows Rangers what they’re missing with what he did in Champions League

Abdallah Sima showed Rangers what they are missing after scoring a brace for Brest in the Champions League on Tuesday 1 October.

The 23-year-old started for the Ligue 1 outfit as they secured a 4-0 win in Europe’s elite competition against Red Bull Salzburg.

 

This saw the Senegal international bring his tally to three for the season with his only other goal also coming in Europe against Sturm Graz.

The winger spent the last campaign on loan at Ibrox from Brighton and became a key player under Philippe Clement before returning to the Seagulls.

Sima scored 16 goals in his 40 appearances for the Light Blues in all competitions [FotMob] which was certainly a positive return in Glasgow.

 

He has continued this form and shown his class on the biggest stage since leaving Ibrox which will only make the Light Blues remember what they had.

Scoring two in his second Champions League appearance of the campaign is a positive night for the former Stoke City loanee.

Considering that he has been replaced by the likes of Vaclav Cerny on loan for this year, there has been a difference in quality on show.
Clement and the Gers’ supporters will be frustrated to see Sima doing so well elsewhere, wishing that he had made a return to Ibrox over the summer instead.
