On Sunday, fans of Tottenham were given the opportunity to witness a quite unusual occurrence: Dejan Kulusesvski scored a header.

It was only the fourth headed goal of the Swede’s career, and even then it came off of his shoulder, according to Transfermarkt. The goal that he scored against Manchester City did not come from his shoulder.

Simply put, despite the fact that Kulusevski is 6 feet 1 inch tall, he is not the best in the air. Alasdair Gold, speaking on his YouTube channel, stated that this is something that Tottenham really wants the winger to improve upon.

Gold did make the observation that Kulusevski is not the most reliable header of a ball, and he stated that Spurs, which is an intriguing fact, do want him to improve his performance in this particular facet of his game if it is at all possible.

Kulusevski is something that Tottenham hopes will improve in the air.
Gold divulged the information that he is aware of on the man who received £15 million.

“I believe that it is due to the fact that he does not head the ball very often, which is the reason why we ended up with this peculiar head-shoulder hybrid finish. I find it intriguing that this is something that they really want him to improve on, and he has also had a bit of an increase in terms of goals and assists,” Gold said. “I think it is interesting that they want him to improve on this.”
