Breaking News: "Settled or Not" - In light of charges of domestic violence, Manchester United forward Antony is about to be fired

It has been reported by The Athletic that former partner Gabriela Cavallin has submitted charges of domestic violence against Manchester United striker Antony, which could result in his removal from Erik ten Hag’s squad’s roster.

Authorities in Brazil and the Greater Manchester Police Department are currently conducting an investigation into the claims, which pertain to instances that are said to have taken place between June 2022 and May of this year (2018).

The Brazilian national team did not take Antony’s denial of all the charges into consideration when they decided to remove him from their roster for the World Cup qualifiers against Bolivia and Peru. Antony has refused to acknowledge any of the allegations.

Following the conclusion of the club’s internal inquiry against Mason Greenwood, the scenario has resulted in calls for Manchester United to suspend Antony. These calls come just a few weeks afterwards.

The club issued a statement on Wednesday expressing its intention to treating the matter “seriously,” but they have rejected calls for the Brazilian to be fired from their position without further explanation.

The charges that were made against Antony were initially brought to light at the beginning of June, when Cavallin submitted a police report in which she accused the footballer of assaulting her on four separate occasions.

Cavallin asserted that Antony coerced her out of a nightclub in Brazil in July 2022, where she had a miscarriage. However, the incident did not end there. However, Antony continued to harass her.
