Caitlin Clark’s Opinion of Taylor Swift Made Perfectly Clear After Chiefs Experience

Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark is still buzzing about her experience of not only getting the chance to watch a Kansas City Chiefs playoff game, but also having the opportunity to do so inside the VIP box at Arrowhead Stadium alongside Taylor Swift. Back in November, the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year attended two out of the three “Eras Tour” concerts in Indianapolis.

Clark did not get the chance to meet Swift in person, but she did get an invite to catch a Chiefs game with the “Fortnight” singer. Clark ended up seated beside Swift on Jan. 18 as they watched the latter’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce and the two-time defending champs take down the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round, 23-14. It was a memorable experience for Clark, who has been a long-time Chiefs supporter. It also gave her the chance to get to know Swift as a person and a friend.

“Taylor’s obviously amazing, and I think just the coolest thing about her I think her ability to bring people together and find joy in something,” Clark said in an interview at the 2025 WIN for KC Women’s Sports Awards in Kansas City on Tuesday. You can really feel that.

Sometimes, you don’t always remember what real humans do and real people. It’s good to have that perspective as well.” Very few people get to rub elbows with the pop megastar, and Clark counts herself lucky to be one of them. She had nothing but good things to say about Swift and how the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter conducted herself during the Chiefs game. It now remains to be seen if Clark will be able to reunite with Swift for the big game on Sunday.

The Chiefs will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX at New Orleans’ Superdome and while Swift is fully expected to be in attendance for the same, Clark’s attendance has yet to be confirmed.
