Parkhead club officials have urged fans to be vigilant if they are in Croatia for the Champions League after a number of incidents ahead of the fixture.
In a Celtic update to supporters, the club confirmed some fans had been targeted after travelling to Croatia’s northwestern capital to back Brendan Rodgers‘ side tomorrow night.
It is not clear how many incidents have taken place or the severity of the matters.
Celtic chiefs are keen to speak with any supporters who have been affected to offer support over the incidents.
A statement read: “Regrettably, we are aware of a number of incidents where Celtic supporters have been targeted in Zagreb.
“We are currently looking to liaise with these fans who have been affected and we will offer all the support and assistance we can. Clearly, we would ask all our supporters travelling to be vigilant.”
It added: “Zagreb Police advice to supporters is to comply with police advice & stewards at all times and respect the city during your visit.”
