This evening looks like being Philippe Clement’s toughest test yet as Rangers manager.
After being paired with Benfica in the Europa League last 16 draw, the Belgian admitted he thought it would the first time his side have been underdogs during his tenure.
Celtic and their fans would likely have disagreed but regardless, the Gers boss clearly knew he would be up against it in Lisbon.
Any result would be welcomed this evening while even a narrow defeat would be far from a disaster ahead of bringing the Portuguese
champions back to Ibrox next season. They don’t have their injury troubles to seek and so it won’t have been an easy selection for Clement.
