Coming into the 2024 NFL season, the Philadelphia Eagles had made some drastic changes during the offseason to try to right the ship after a 2023 campaign that turned out to be a disaster, with the team being exposed in more ways than one.
Fortunately for Philadelphia, the team seemed to make all the right moves during the NFL offseason to upgrade the roster and set up a bounce-back season in 2024, especially with the addition of superstar running back Saquon Barkley.
Along with signing one of the elite running backs in the league to upgrade the ground game, the Eagles also have a talented young quarterback in Jalen Hurts, as well as one of the best receiving corps in the league, headlined by AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith.
Although the Eagles have one of the NFL’s best groups of receivers, Philadelphia is always looking to improve, as does every team in the league, and chose to make a move on Tuesday following an impressive win over the Green Bay Packers last week to start the 2024 campaign.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Eagles have added former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Danny Gray to their practice squad.
With the Eagles playing well offensively in the season opener against the Packers in Brazil last Thursday, the team seems to be well on their way to having another solid year in the Hurts era.
Only time will tell if the team can continue to play well on a weekly basis, but the Eagles do look like a better all-around team this year.
