Every Championship free agent so far as Coventry City scour the market

Coventry City have set out their summer transfer intentions to cast their net far and wide as Mark Robins looks to add to an impressive core of a squad ahead of next season.
The Sky Blues boss is keen to strengthen a number of positions and club owner Doug King is expected to back the manager with more funding to put quality on the pitch. City’s recruitment department, meanwhile, may well have an eye on the odd free agent.
And there are plenty of them about, including some excellent players. Coventry have already been strongly linked with interest in Preston North End skipper Alan Browne, who is out of contract at Deepdale and may well be looking for a fresh challenge after ten years at the club, albeit the 28-year-old has been offered a lucrative new deal to stay.
Retained lists are being confirmed up and down the division, with a host of familiar names running to the end of their contracts.
Sam McCallum is one of four first team regulars to leave Norwich City after their play-off semi-final defeat along with Ben Gibson, Danny Batth and Dimitris Giannoulis.
Blackburn Rovers have triggered extensions for Sam Gallagher and Tyrhys Dolan – and will sit down with the duo to discuss their long-term futures – while they are in talks with veterans and former Sky Blues Kyle McFadzean and John Fleck.
Another ex-City favourite, Liam Walsh, along with Przemyslaw Placheta are leaving Swansea but Kyle Naughton and Joe Allen are staying and Coventry-born City fan Jamie Paterson has been offered new terms.
