Fabrizio Romano shares Armando Broja transfer update amid Everton, Wolves and Southampton links
Everton, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton have all been linked with Chelsea forward Armando Broja in recent weeks.
The Toffees are said to be ‘concretely interested’ in the Blues man amid reports suggesting Dominic Calvert-Lewin is keen on moving elsewhere.
Florian Plettenberg also claimed that Wolves are keen on Broja, although it remains to be seen whether this is the case now they’re set to sign Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Meanwhile, TBR Football sources recently revealed that Southampton are considering a move to bring Broja back to the club.
The Albania international is said to be keen on possibly moving back to St Mary’s Stadium, where he enjoyed a previous loan spell.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has shared an update on Broja amid reported interest from the likes of Everton, Wolves and Southampton.
Clubs now moving around Armando Broja
The transfer insider, speaking on his YouTube channel, has urged fans to “keep a close eye on Armando Broja” because he is “hearing there is interest of several clubs”.
He continued: “In the last 24-48 hours, clubs like Everton and also others started moving around Armando Broja, so there could be movement around him in the weekend.
“We know for financial fair play, it is a crucial weekend for many clubs.”
Getting Broja fully fit and firing on all cylinders is key
Broja spend the second half of last season on loan at Fulham, but he struggled at Craven Cottage, failing to score a single goal.
Admittedly, his numbers last season didn’t make for great reading, but at 22 years old, he still has his whole career ahead of him.
Broja was out for much of last year with an ACL injury and struggled to catch up for the remainder of the season.
Out-of-form players can often turn out to be bargains if whoever signs them can coach them and man-manage them properly.
Broja is a talented player and, with the right guidance, he should be able to do a good job for any of Everton, Wolves or Southampton.
With a full pre-season under him, Broja will hopefully be back to his best.
