Fiorentina and Atalanta have been hot on Nicolo Zaniolo’s heels this past few weeks, but the former seems to be on the verge of winning the race. Calciomercato journalist Daniele Longo claims the beaten Europa Conference League finalists have agreed on personal terms with the Galatasaray forward.

Zaniolo’s agent has met Fiorentina a few times in recent days to discuss his client’s return to Serie A. Talks have come to fruition as the 24-year-old gave his ‘ok’ to a move to Stadio Artemio Franchi. It’s now up to Fiorentina to match Atalanta’s bid.

La Dea pitched Galatasaray with a tangible proposal, submitting a loan offer with an option to buy set at €20 million. As the Turks are determined to cut Zaniolo loose, Atalanta’s approach has been met by approval, meaning Fiorentina will have to put forward similar terms.
