Gary O’Neil sack latest: Wolves dressing room response revealed

Wolves players remain fully behind under-pressure boss Gary O’Neil despite their winless start to the season, sources have told Football Insider.

The Molineux club picked up a point at home against Crystal Palace on Saturday (2 November), conceding a 77th-minute equaliser after Joao Gomes put them in the lead just five minutes earlier.

Sources say the dressing room feels there is still time to turn things around this term.

Wolves are still without a win this season and sit bottom of the table with three points.

O’Neil’s next task is a home clash with 19th-place Southampton, who moved above his side with a 1-0 win against Everton on Saturday (2 November).

It is believed an eighth Premier League loss against the Saints would ramp up the pressure on the English boss heading into the international break.
