Jose Mourinho wants to sign Barcelona loanee Joao Felix for Fenerbahçe

Barcelona forward Joao Felix is reportedly wanted at Turkish side Fenerbahce where Jose Mourinho has just been appointed as manager.

Mourinho met recently with Jorge Mendes and the club’s chiefs to discuss transfers and a possible loan for Felix, according to Turkish outlet Fanatik.

Mendes represents both parties and it seems talks are set to be held after Felix has finished representing Portugal at Euro 2024.

Felix’s priority is to stay on at Barcelona after his current loan expires, but if that is not possible then a move to Fenerbahce could be on the cards.

It’s not clear yet if Barca can reach a deal with Atletico to sign Felix for another season, but a return to Diego Simeone’s side also looks difficult for the attacker.

Indeed Atletico are in a tricky situation with Felix. He cost a club-record fee when he signed back in 2019 and is contracted to the club until 2029.
