Liel Abada escalates Celtic transfer exit plan as agent ‘jets in’ for crunch talks over hardline Parkhead stance

Liel Abada’s agent will reportedly fly in for talks with Celtic as he attempts to navigate a move to the MLS.
The 22-year-old has missed the last two games for the Hoops after Brendan Rodgers stated that the winger was not in the right frame of mind to take part.
The pro-Palestine stance among a section of the Parkhead support has raised questions about whether Abada could remain in Glasgow’s east end amid the on-going conflict with Israel.
Former Parkhead star Nir Bitton has been a vocal critic of the Hoops’ fans while several Israeli international team-mates and pundits in his homeland have advised him to make a move away from the Scottish Premiership champions as soon as possible.
The wide man had been linked with a move away from Celtic in January with clubs in England, Germany and France interested in a deal – but he remained in Scotland.
Now reports have suggested that a move Stateside could be on the cards with teams in America still able recruit players from abroad until April 23.

And Israeli outlet Sport 5 claim that the player’s agent will arrive in Glasgow soon in an attempt to facilitate a move to the MLS.
It is claimed that Celtic are not willing to allow Abada to leave on loan – meaning that clubs will now have to meet the cub’s valuation of a star who only signed a new four-year deal last September which will see him remain under contract until 2027.
The report states there is a “problem” with the transfer fee that is being demanded by the Hoops but a departure “is still possible.”
