Transfer window
Liverpool haven’t made a single signing so far in this summer transfer window under Arne Slot.
The Reds have been wholly inactive so far during this transfer window, but that could soon change.
Indeed, Liverpool are looking at signing Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili, and now, they’re being linked with a young talent from the Belgian League.
Liverpool interested in Matias Fernandez-Pardo
According to Chris Wheatley, Liverpool are amongst the clubs interested in Matias Fernandez-Pardo.
The 19-year-old has been making waves for Gent over in Belgium, and he’s caught the eye of Liverpool.
Leicester and Southampton are both also said to be interested in the youngster, but given Liverpool’s respective status and prestige, you’d expect the Reds to have an edge in this race.
What type of player is Matias Fernandez-Pardo?
Matias Fernandez-Pardo looks to be such an exciting young player.
Of course, you have to take his performances with a pinch of salt given the league he is playing in, but last season, he was so impressive.
He made just seven appearances for Gent last term, and in those games he grabbed five goals and two assists – you can’t really ask for much more.
Fernandez-Pardo is a very exciting player. In fact, his stats show that he actually dribbles more than Luis Diaz.
He’s a speedy wide player who has a real eye for goal.
Liverpool already have a number of exciting young wingers at the club such as Kaide Gordon and Ben Doak, but Fernandez-Pardo could well be the best of the bunch.
This is a young player who looks to have a bright future, and if Liverpool can get this deal over the line, they may just have a future superstar on their hands.
This is certainly a player to keep an eye on in the coming years, even if he doesn’t join Liverpool in this transfer window.
