Luka Doncic May Break Out Special Accessory For Game 6

The Dallas Mavericks have a chance to advance to the Western Conference Finals for the second time in three years if they’re able to close out the Oklahoma City Thunder at home in Game 6.

Dallas and Oklahoma City have traded punches throughout the series, but it was the former that took the upper hand in the series with a gutsy Game 5 win on the road.

Luka Doncic has been battling through multiple lower-body injuries, but gave the team everything he had in Game 5 with a 31-point, 11-assist, 10-rebound triple-double.

Doncic may not be healthy, but he’s found ways to poke holes in the Thunder defense and will be counted on to lead the way again in Game 6.

The superstar guard was seen warming up ahead of the pivotal matchup and it appears he could be going back to a signature look, via Noah Weber.

“Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic is wearing a headband for morning shootaround ahead of Game 6 tonight. Could we be getting headband Luka tonight?” Weber reported.

Doncic has sported a headband in numerous games throughout the 2023-24 NBA season and he could be donning one again in a closeout game.

The headband look is popular in European hoops and it’s only fitting for Doncic to pay homage to his roots back home in Dallas.

With how strong he looked in Game 6, Doncic should be highly-motivated to beat the Thunder and give himself and the rest of the Mavericks roster some much-needed rest before the next round.
