West Brom defender Ethan Ingraham is considering his options, according to a report on social media.
According to Daniel Marsh, a journalist for the Daily Mirror, Ingram has options in League One and in Scotland and is weighing up his options.
He has been offered a new deal by the Baggies but has yet to sign new terms. Ingram has been at the Hawthorns since 2015 after being scouted at one of WBA’s development centres.
The 21-year-old has made three appearances for West Brom, all of which have come in the Carabao Cup. He spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Salford City and appeared 26 times for the Ammies.
Darnell Furlong was the first-choice right-back last season and was ever-present in both the Championship and the play-offs. Pipa’s loan agreement came to an end and Ingram could be considered as a back-up for Furlong, though he might hold ambitions to play regular first-team football at this stage of his career.
If he were to leave for a club in England then West Brom would be due compensation for him as he came through their youth academy. Should a team in Scotland sign him then there would be less of a fee.
Ingram is one of several players who have been offered new terms. The club posted in May that Kyle Bartley, Cedric Kipre, Ted Cann, Reyes Cleary, Evan Humphries, Archie Kirton, Deago Nelson and Adriel Walker would all be offered a new contract.
Reports in Turkey are linking Kipre with a move away with Trabzonspor keen to sign him. Talks are said to have taken place according to Turkish outlet Sabah.
