Portsmouth are likely to loan out new signing Reuben Swann this summer, according to BBC reporter Andrew Moon on X.

Portsmouth are expected to give the youngster the green light to head out the exit door on a temporary basis ahead of the new season to get some experience under his belt.

Swann, 18, has been snapped up by the Championship new boys from AFC Sudbury in non-league. He has penned a two-year deal, with the club holding an option for a further 12 months.

He has told their website“It’s a proud moment for me – and my family – to sign my first professional contract with Pompey. I’m happy to get things over the line and now I’m excited to start training with the rest of the team soon.

“The manager told me that this club is moving in the right direction and I’m just so thankful to be here. I’m grateful to the coaches and my team-mates at Sudbury and now this is a big step up for me – but I’m confident I can meet the demands.”
