QPR meagre £27m squad value compared to Leeds United, Sunderland, West Brom and Championship £218m giants

QPR have a respectable squad market value but it may seem like nothing compared to some of the Championship’s financial giants.

So far this summer, it’s been about retaining players for QPR as Marti Cifuentes prepares for the upcoming Championship campaign.

R’s supporters are still hoping for marquee signings as the club looks to avoid another relegation scrap next season. The Catalan coach recruited well in January, boosting the side’s market value to bring in the quality needed to avoid the drop.

Lucas Andersen impressed in midfield while Michael Frey provided a physical presence up top. Newcastle United midfielder Isaac Hayden also came in but has since returned to the North East as we await news on his potential return to Loftus Road.
