Rangers transfer latest as Poku ‘seals’ Championship move

Rangers look to have missed out on signing Kwame Poku.

The club had shown interest in the winger after he scored 12 goals and assisted 10 for Peterborough United last season.

However, it has become clear that Poku wanted to remain in the south of England.

He has reportedly joined Queen’s Park Rangers after signing for them on Saturday morning, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The right-back joined the club on a season-long loan from Bournemouth, becoming the club’s second addition of the summer.

He joins Lyall Cameron in new head coach Russell Martin’s squad ahead of the new season.

Aaron said, “I’m delighted to be here.

“It’s a huge club; you realize that when you walk through the doors here.

“I can’t wait to get going.

“I’ve got a lot of experience now in different leagues, and I’ve played a lot of games.

“Hopefully I can bring that experience, a new energy—and Rangers fans can be excited because I’m really looking forward to it.

“As soon as you know a club like this—with the size of it—is interested, it’s always going to be at the forefront of your mind.”
