According to Football Insider, sources have informed them that Aston Villa have registered interest in Samuel Iling-Junior, and any bid of around £17m is likely to be accepted.

Spanish publication Fichajes recently claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are plotting a double

offer for Juventus’ attacking duo Samuel Iling-Junior and Matias Soule. However, they are not without competition.

Aston Villa and Brighton are interested in signing Iling-Junior (TuttoJuve via TMW) whilst Soule is courting interest from Newcastle United and Crystal Palace (JuveLive).

Iling-Junior has made just seven appearances for Juventus so far this season, providing one assist (Transfermarkt).

All his appearances so far this season have come as a substitute and he has played only 11 percent of possible minutes.

Tottenham are still interested in Iling-Junior but could be challenged by Aston Villa in the race for the former Cobham graduate.

The report has claimed that any bid of £17million is likely to be accepted by the Serie A giants.

The 20-year-old still remains a top target for Ange Postecoglou in the January transfer window.

The club remain in contact with Juventus but may need to act quickly.

Spurs Web Opinion

Talks surrounding Samuel Iling-Junior to Tottenham had reached feverish pitch a few weeks back but things seem to have settled a bit now.

Once the transfer window opens, expect talks to resurface.

Aston Villa are keen on signing the 20-year-old.

They are well-placed in the Premier League and this could tempt the English winger to join Unai Emery’s side.

Let’s wait and see if Ange Postecoglou can convince Iling-Junior to come to North London.
