Southampton Season Tickets Now Sold Out To New Purchasers

The feel good factor after the win over Leeds United at Wembley has continued into the 2024/25 season with the news that Saints have sold out the season tickets available to new purchasers, but there may yet be a few available in July.

I don’t think there has ever been a season whereSouthampton FC have completely sold out season tickets since the move to St Mary’s, but that is the case now with all tickets available for those who weren’t season ticket holders last season now snapped up.

Last seasons season ticket holders now have until Monday July 1st to renew their tickets and if there are any that are not renewed after that date, they may then be sold to those who are on the waiting list.

It is unclear just what number the cap was put on for season tickets this season, but after we have given the normal Premier League allocation of 3,000, it may only leave around 3-5,000 tickets available for general sale for individual games.

As mentioned I cannot recall when we have sold out season tickets since we left the Dell in 2001, in the final years at the Dell, with a capacity of only 15,000, there was a waiting list, but since then although we have, bar a few years between relegation in 2005 and promotion back to the Premier in 2012, usually had average gates of around 30,000 plus, there was always spare capacity for season tickets.

It is something to build on going forward and it can only augur well for the future.
