Daniel Oprița (43 years old) revealed that he has a special clause in the new contract he signed with Steaua, until 2026.v

The coach asked for a termination clause in case he wanted to leave the “red-blues”.

This summer, the former striker signed a new contract with the “red-blue” team, valid for two seasons, in which he proposed a termination clause to Steaua officials.

The player revealed that he can pay his own termination clause if he wants to leave.

“In the summer I signed for two seasons. There is also a clause that we mutually agreed upon, when I want to leave and someone wants me, they can pay a clause.”

Daniel Oprița has been Steaua’s coach since 2019, when the team from Ghencea was playing in League 4.

Before joining Steaua, Oprița also coached Metalul Reșița, Juventus Bucharest, FC Voluntari and CS Mioveni.
