Poku set for QPR
Kwame Poku is reportedly set to complete a move to Queens Park Rangers, despite alleged interest from Swansea City.
According to Sky Sports, the winger is poised to make the move to west London in a deal worth £900,000 plus add-ons. Sign up for our Swansea City newsletter here.
The 23-year-old, who scored 12 goals in 27 appearances in League One last season, is actually a free agent this summer, but his age means Posh are entitled to a compensation figure.
The strength of Swansea’s interest isn’t clear, but they weren’t the only club linked with a move this summer.
Birmingham and Rangers were also credited with a keen interest in Poku in this window, but it seems he has now chosen Loftus Road as his preferred destination.
Mexican side in for Ronald
Club America are reportedly the latest club to have taken an interest in Swansea City winger Ronald this summer.
According to Soy Fútbol, there is currently no offer on the table for the winger, but it’s claimed the Mexican side is ‘analyzing his signing.’
Ronald has been linked with several clubs in his native Brazil this summer, including Corinthians, Vasco da Gama, and Santos, but the 25-year-old appears focused on the upcoming campaign with Swansea.
Earlier this week, he dropped a potential hint about his intentions by posting a picture on his Instagram story that showed him kissing the Swans badge, accompanied by a heart and swan emoji.
Luke Williams favourite for Owls post
Former Swansea City boss Luke Williams is the early bookies’ favorite to take over at Sheffield Wednesday this summer.
Danny Rohl is still officially the manager at Hillsborough, but he now looks almost certain to depart before the start of the new season, having made no secret of his desire to leave the Owls amid turbulence behind the scenes at the club.
Reports elsewhere have suggested that discussions with Rohl about his future have already opened, and a conclusion could well be reached soon.
Williams, meanwhile, has been working at Bristol Airport following his sacking from the Swans in January but is keen on a return to football soon.

Boro again for Swans on opening day
For the second season in a row, Swansea City will once again start the new season with a trip to Middlesbrough.
Last term’s opener ended in a 1-0 defeat, and boss Alan Sheehan will be hoping for a more positive start to what is his first full season in charge.
Swansea’s opening home game sees them take on Sheffield United on August 16.
While there’s no South Wales derby this season, the Swans will still face Welsh opposition in the form of newly promoted Wrexham, with Phil Parkinson’s men rolling into SA1 on December 20. City then travel to the Racecourse on March 14.
Sheehan’s men will be on the road for much of the Christmas break, meanwhile, traveling to Coventry City on Boxing Day before heading to Oxford United three days later. They then head back home to face West Bromwich Albion on January 1.
The Easter period brings two tough propositions. Sheffield United lie in wait on Good Friday before Middlesbrough come to town on Easter Monday
