Despite having a three-hour meeting with Cagliari – where he thanked Tommaso Giulini and promised him that he would go to the Rossoblu if things do not work with Lazio – Marco Baroni is continuing to wait for the Biancocelesti. According to Tutto Mercato Web, they are working on a two-year contract with an option for a third year, with the Biancocelesti hoping to finalize the deal by 7 June.

Following Igor Tudor’s resignation, Lazio are evaluating Marco Baroni, Paulo Sousa, and Miroslav Klose as possible replacements; Massimiliano Allegri has also been called by Claudio Lotito, while a Maurizio Sarri return is also on the cards, reports Damiano Er Faina.
