West Brom are interested in signing LASK left-back George Bello but face rival interest from Rangers, as per Football Insider.
West Brom have a huge summer ahead of them once again after a disappointing season. WBA needs to regroup and go again once more if they hope to be in the promotion picture next time around.
The Baggies are in the market for several new players this summer, as well as a new head coach after the campaign’s end. They will be looking to make moves early in the window to get the jump on their rivals.

One position that West Brom are looking to strengthen is the left side of their defense. Now, a new name linked with a move to The Hawthorns is LASK’s George Bello, reported by Football Insider.
Bello is believed to be available for around £1m this summer ahead of his contract expiring next year. West Brom will have to beat Scottish giants Rangers to his signature this summer.
The 23-year-old is a long-term target of Rangers, and he is a full USA international. Like WBA, Rangers are also managerless as of the end of the season.
An excellent season
Bello has had a great season in Austria with LASK, his second with the club. He joined LASK from German club Arminia Bielefeld in the summer of 2023 after two years with the 3. Liga champions.
This season has beenbly his best since he made the move to Europe four years ago. As per FotMob, Bello has managed a 7.02 average match rating, as well as scoring two goals in all competitions.

Bello also made eight appearances in European competitions, six in the Conference League and two in the Europa League. It is no wonder clubs are taking interest in him this summer after such a good year.
Free up Styles?
Callum Styles has had a great season with West Brom after two disappointing campaigns. The links to new left-backs for the Baggies will not be to replace Styles, but more likely to provide competition or allow him to move into midfield.
Styles has played the majority of his career in midfield and only moved backwards over the past two years. He has all the creative attributes to play in that role and has excelled there in the past.
With the likes of John Swift and Grady Diangana leaving the club this summer, that is a gap that needs filling. Styles could potentially be an in-house replacement for the pair.
