West Ham have been rejected by Keiran Tierney with the Arsenal left-back set to move to Celtic, according to TBR Football.
The report on 3 January claims that the Scotland international has chosen to return to his former club despite interest from Premier League teams.
The Hammers are named alongside Leicester City and Brentford as clubs that approached the 27-year-old about a potential move.
However, it states that the left-back has decided to move back to Celtic Park and reject the Irons’ advances.
Left-back is a position of need for West Ham
The Hammers are desperate for a new left-back in the January transfer window as they seek to freshen up the position.
Their current options on the left side of defence are 30-year-old Emerson Palmieri and 35-year-old Aaron Cresswell.
However, missing out on Tierney will not be that much of a blow due to his abysmal injury record, he has spent more time on the sidelines at the Emirates than on the pitch in recent years.

The Scotland international has missed 114 matches for club and country since joining the Gunners from the Hoops in 2020.
The Hammers need someone they can depend on, not somebody who is on the treatment table most weeks and misses out for the majority of the season meaning that they would still have to depends on Emerson or Cresswell.
The position is possibly the most urgent for the Hammers to get sorted in January given the performance of the defence so far this season, only three teams has conceded more goals than the Irons in the top-flight.
