Orel Mangala is ready to leave Nottingham Forest in the January transfer window.
That is according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, who has named the three clubs who are keen on signing the Forest midfielder.
So, what has been reported about Nottingham Forest defensive midfielder Orel Mangala? Let’s take a look.
Orel Mangala open to Nottingham Forest
Well, according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg on X, Orel Mangala is open to leaving Nottingham Forest in the January transfer window.
The report has claimed that there are as many as three clubs keen on securing the services of the 25-year-old defensive midfielder this month.

Plettenberg has said that Italian giants Juventus and Napoli are pushing to get a deal done for the Belgium international on a permanent deal.

Turkish giants Galatasaray are also interested in the 25-year-old and have already made an offer for the midfielder, who cost Forest £12.7 million (Sky Sports) in transfer fees when they signed him from VfB Stuttgart in the summer of 2022.
My View: Nottingham Forest should not sell Orel Mangala
In my view, Nottingham Forest should not sell Orel Mangala in the January transfer window.
With three top European clubs interested in the defensive midfielder, the Reds could recoup the transfer fee they paid for him and perhaps even make a small profit, but they have to think of survival in the Premier League first.
The 25-year-old is a regular in the Forest team. He has scored one goal in 17 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League this season.
Last season, Mangala made 20 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for Forest, who have been linked with Cyril Ngonge.
He scored one goal and gave one assist in those games.
Forest simply cannot afford to sell such an important player in the middle of the season.
The Reds have to keep Mangala at the City Ground until the end of the season.
