Successful surgery for player after missing out on Nottingham Forest transfer

For any Nottingham Forest fans wondering what might have happened to striker Pedro, then it appears it is good news.

Raisa Simplicio reports on X that Flamengo are now informing the media that the striker has undergone successful surgery on his recent injury and is expected to be discharged from hospital this Saturday.

We reported last week that Pedro was set to undergo surgery after suffering an unfortunate cruciate ligament injury.

That came after a busy end to the transfer window which had seen a move to Nottingham fail.

Nottingham Forest, of course, spent most of the summer chasing a new striker for Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad but failed in various pursuits.

Pedro was one of those they missed won’t be moving anywhere else in the near future after his cruciate ligament injury.

The good news is that he’s now undergone the required surgery, which was a success, and he’s now on the road to recovery.

We’re sure Nottingham Forest fans wish him well and all the best.
