Trail Blazers release injury updates for Scoot Henderson and Deandre Ayton

Portland Trail Blazers center Deandre Ayton and point guard Scoot Henderson have been ruled out for Wednesday night’s game at the Denver Nuggets.

Ayton (left calf strain) left Monday night’s 146-117 loss at Denver in the third quarter and did not return.

Henderson (right ankle sprain) exited the game early in the fourth quarter and also did not return.

Forward Jerami Grant and center Robert Williams III, who both missed Monday’s loss with right knee soreness, are questionable for Wednesday. Same with forward Kris Murray (left quad contusion).

The Blazers have one game remaining before the All-Star break.

Henderson’s status for Friday night’s Rising Stars tournament could be in doubt.
